The Eyrie, stronghold of The Flock, is a lofty, circular fortress with high walls and a large central tower built into the side of a cliff overlooking the sea. Sea spray fills the air and screeching and squawking echoes from various exotic birds that roost in aviaries around the outer walls. A statue of a gull in flight stands sentinel at the entrance of the stronghold, poised as if ready to dive. As you approach, a group of mercenaries in feathered cloaks and armor can be seen sharpening their weapons and practicing archery on a nearby range. Located on one of the islands on the eastern coast of Zosmai, the Eyrie inhabits a place of ambiguous national borders - on a map it appears to be within the borders of Zosmai, but in reality national presences in nearly absent.
